UNDYING EYES
Mission
Modern maritime regions are critical for national defense and commerce. Their sercurity requires persistent presence, not intermittent data.
Leviathan delivers persistent awareness of critical areas via a swarm of extended-endurance AUVs, redefining how the United States approaches intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance.
PERSISTENT BY DESIGN
We're building an autonomous undersea system that can hold maritime regions without asking manned vessels to remain nearby. Our work is focused on extending presence, reducing exposure, and allowing a distributed fleet to keep watch across large areas.
Designed to remain below the surface for any mission timeframe.
Leviathan is built around the energy bottleneck AUVs face. Low-draw travel modes, compact reserve power, and environmental energy harvesting are in development so the vehicle can preserve power for sensing, maneuvering, and communication.
Integrated sensor suite to replace mission-by-mission payload swaps.
Each AUV is intended to carry the core instruments needed for position, health, water conditions, and surveillance. A unified sensor stack keeps the vehicle mission-ready at any time while reducing size, weight, and power overhead.
Built for agile movement across complex undersea conditions.
Our platform moves beyond the conventional torpedo profile with distributed thrust, flexible control surfaces, and hydrodynamic body features. The goal is precise navigation during normal operation and sharper response for immediate adaptation to environmental changes.
Swarms of autonomous vessels for extensive coverage.
Leviathan is approaching operations as a decentralized network. Vessels share local information, relay data through the swarm, and adapt coverage when one unit moves, loses contact, or becomes unavailable.
